Gravity Feed Hot Water Systems
A Gravity Feed hot water service is usually located in the ceiling space and heated by electricity. They are mostly found in older properties and can often give good service for 40 plus years. The downside to a gravity feed unit is that it relies on gravity to deliver the hot water which is often at a much lower pressure to the cold water.
Todays’ modern tapware and water saving initiatives are mostly incompatible with gravity feed units so they are usually updated when they fail.
